Simply an adorable couple to work with, Ben & Lena filled their session with plenty of laughter and good conversation. Their friend had purchased a gift certificate for Lena's baby shower gift and I couldn't have been more privileged and excited to be part of this special gift! I also get to look forward to doing newborn photos of their first little addition to their family. I can't wait!

I think we caught the last hints of fall just in the nick of time, and my was it glorious!

Sofia Ella Grace - Salem, OR Newborn Photographer

OK, I can't hardly stand this! Last week I had the privilege to spend some time with my little niece Sofia and take a few photographs of her. She's just about two weeks old in these and as luscious as ever! I'm going to do another session with her in a few weeks and will be sure to keep posting my favorites. She, by the way, is Carli Bittner's (my sister) daughter. I did Carli's Maternity photos twice actually, here's the first, and the second.

One of the perks, or is it a curse?, of being related to a photographer, you get your photos taken all the time. hehe. I just love this family to pieces!

Carli Previews - Salem, Oregon Maternity Photographer

This is Carli, my super-hero big sister. Last night at 6:59 she gave birth the the most scrumptious little girl, Sofia Ella Grace. These I took about a week and a half ago, crazy to think she was just waiting to come out. I'll post some pictures of her soon.

Let's start this off with a little pitch for bycarli. Carli, my oldest sister is wildly creative, perfectly domestic, and quite pretty. Oh, and she makes amazing hand-crafted items for baby, mommy, and home. Me and Megan of Red Pearl Designs have been assisting her in starting her business, and I'm pretty excited about the amazingly cute products she's creating. You'll have to keep tabs on her blog to see her new business unveil.

When I called asking to do some test shots of Carli she agreed and It's been over a month since I took these. We met at Vitae Springs Vineyard, borrowed Megan's clothes, and had a grand ole' time. Her oldest, my nephew Isaiah who's 5 came along, was quite a pill, but we pushed through.

To all who've noticed a month go by without a post, your wait is over. I've been booking so many sessions it's like a bunch of Oregonians starving for their brief glimpse at sunshine!

This is a particularly fun post for me because of how much I enjoyed this session. Matt emailed me a while back informing me that he had convinced his wife Beth to have maternity photos taken of her first pregnancy. By now they've had Lucas, despite his being two weeks overdue! Bless that women!

But getting back to the shoot. Ryan and & met them out at Vitae Springs Vineyard and spent the next two hours getting to know these two and capturing the sweet love and care they have for one another.

I shot this in the midst of one of the most chaotic weekends of my life, and it was a much needed breath of fresh air.

Meet Matt & Beth Tibbs, new fresh new parents. II'm actually doing newborn photos of Lucas, and can't wait to meet the little guy. If he's anything like his parents, he'll be a ton of fun and really easy going!
