Ben and I share quite a few things in common, believe it or not. We live on the same street, both our parents go to Foothills church in Stayton, and both of us swim (in my case swam) in high school. We could almost be twins...almost ;).

He had the great idea of contacting local Willamette University to shoot at their pool so we started it off there and meandered around the campus the rest of the shoot. I love all this location has to offer, and I felt it really complimented Ben's personality! He is such a sweetheart, and he sports his letterman's jacket with style!

I've known Sam forever, probably since we were both in diapers, so it was such a pleasure to be able to photograph him at such an important time in his life. Here's a few previews from our shoot last weekend. More to come (promise!).

You know an engagement blog is overdue when you just shot the wedding two days before.

Getting to know their families over the weekend has helped me get to know these two individuals so much, and see why they love one another so sweetly.

Ryan Loy (senior Rep) - Salem Oregon Senior Photographer

Ryan Loy is a 2010 Senior Rep for Salem Academy. He's the younger brother of my dearest friend Megan, son to two fun parents, Debbie & Bob, and really great guy. I'll make this short as these are just some previews from our session last week...but I gotta tell you we had a lot of fun and I can't wait to share all the amazing shots we got! Scouting Locations

Last weekend Ryan and I were doing some research, building up my locations list for shoots, specifically senior shoots. The more I look and pick my brain the more interesting, unique locations I find. The setting and surroundings are a very important element in a successful shoot, so why not find something amazing?

Ryan's becoming my stand in model for all the last-minute adventures with the camera. I'm so thankful for the man that he is, his selfless heart and desire to serve. I could not do this without him!

Will you follow me once again as I share pics of Ryan? These are partly to show some of the locations, just for fun, and maybe more than anything an outlet.

This is his and my favorite....I love the placement, lighting, and how cool the cement looks.

Carrying the bags. This is half what there normally is to lug around.

I'm in love with this skirt, and keeping with my tradition to capture my feet (so un-original, I know) I had to take advantage of the lovely color palate happening here.

His expression makes me laugh here, plus the BIIIIG leg distortion.
